During the PA demo, the goal is to be clearly seen and heard by as many passengers as possible. On the 777-200ER, FA 10 is positioned in the mid zone C along the right-hand aisle because this spot gives the strongest overall reach and visibility for the central portion of the cabin while keeping the left and right sides accessible. From mid-zone C, the FA can face forward and project the briefing through the cabin’s PA system, point to safety cards on seats, and easily transition to assist passengers along both aisles as the demonstration unfolds.

Standing in the front row center would limit reach to the rear sections and block sightlines for passengers behind. Being in the aft row shifts the audience away from the area where most passengers need to see and hear the briefing. The front left position biases attention to one side and reduces effectiveness across the cabin. That’s why mid zone C, right-hand aisle is the best choice: it ensures clear coverage of the central cabin and balanced accessibility to passengers on both sides.
